just some breathtaking details from a wonderful morning spent floating around Caddo Lake with my camera

I was struck by how much I wanted everyone to see this moment and knew I was onto another favorite image

we get maybe one or two ridiculous sunsets a month

It was physically punishing this first visit

Rugged Edge favorites There's nothing else like itI think a lot of folks (myself included) wouldn't mind a little quiet time here, with nothing but the sounds of the water lapping at the shore, the birds flying overhead and the buffeting wind. I stayed here as long as I could, watching the fog move quickly through the valley behind the lonely house, periodically hiding or revealing the mountainous landscape in the distance.
